In support of accelerating and improving drug development, scientific communities endorse the use of DPM. Across multiple biopharmaceutical companies, the International Consortium for Innovation & Quality (IQ) in Pharmaceutical Development's survey scrutinizes the hurdles and avenues for DPM. The 2021 FDA workshop's discussions of IQ viewpoints are also highlighted in this summary. The IQ survey, composed of 36 key questions, had sixteen pharmaceutical companies as participants. Diverse question structures were present in the questionnaire, including single-response, multiple-response, dichotomy, ranking, and open-ended, free-text-based questions. In contrast to Bourdieu's identification of the second axis as differentiated by contrasting cultural and economic capital, and the inverse thereof, subsequent research instead emphasizes the divide between the young and the elderly in shaping this second axis. From the outset until the present moment, this finding has not been thoroughly assessed. We propose in this paper that considering age-related inequalities offers a potent approach for interpreting recent trends, in order to grasp the changing importance of cultural capital and its relationship with the intensified economic stratification. Building upon a theoretical exploration of the relationship between cultural capital and youth, we will synthesize research on young people, highlighting the relevance of their cultural consumption experiences. We will pragmatically direct our focus to the demographic of 15-30 year olds and strongly emphasize Norwegian studies in our assessment, as they are the most sophisticated within this type.
